I am from Vermont. Specifically, a town called Orange. It's really small. I graduated from U-32 High School in 2014, and I now attend Unity College in central Maine as an Art & Environment major.
During the summer of 2013, while I was still in high school, I traveled to Honduras with some fellow students. I attended because of my love for the ocean and interest in pursuing a career in marine science. The purpose of the trip was to help Operation Wallacea gather data for their research in coral reef ecology. For two weeks, I spent each day snorkeling & scuba diving, as well as observing the local culture. Week one was spent on the island of Útila, at the Coral View dive center; and week two was spent on the mainland in Tela.
